Turkey entry restrictions

In line with the latest decisions taken by the Turkish authorities, new restrictions will be applied to all passengers arriving in Turkey.
Starting from 29 December 2020, every person aged 6 years and over shall submit a negative COVID-19 (RT-PCR) test certificate during the flight check-in done within the last 72 hours before entering Turkey.
Passengers who have not submitted a negative PCR test shall not be allowed to board the flight.
If the person does not submit his/her negative PCR test results to the authorities of the points of entry/ borders:
- He/She will be taken to his/her place of accommodation (house, hotel, etc.) and quarantined.
- He/She will be taken in a place decided by the local health authorities and quarantined if that person indicates that he/she does not have a place of accommodation.
They will remain in quarantine for 7 days and after the end of 7th day, they will take PCR tests.
- People whose test result is negative after 7 days of quarantine will no longer be quarantined.
- Those who have positive results will have treatment in the Turkish ministry of Health’s Covid-19 guidance.
These restrictions will be in force until 01.03.2021
