Tunisia entry restrictions from 27 October 2021

Below are the conditions for entry into Tunisia, from October 27, 2021:

 

I- General measures

1- Vaccinated Passengers arriving in Tunisia, must:

- Present a negative RT-PCR test with a ‘QR Code’ which does not exceed 72 hours at check-in at the airport of departure, except for children under 12 years of age.

Present a certificate justifying that they have completed their COVID-19 vaccination for at least 14 days, issued by the health authorities of the country of residence.

Comply with rapid random screening by antigen testing on arrival if they are selected "at random" for this. If the test is positive, the passenger concerned will be transferred to a medical isolation center.

- Fill in the mandatory information requested on the site: https://app.e7mi.tn, then print and sign the two documents generated by the application and hand them over to the health services at the thermal control point on arrival at Tunisian airports.

 

2- Passengers arriving in Tunisia, unvaccinated or those who have not completed their COVID-19 vaccination or those who have not completed the 14 days since the completion of the vaccination must:

- Present a negative RT-PCR test with a ‘QR Code’ which does not exceed 72 hours at check-in at the airport of departure, except for children under 12 years of age.

Submit to mandatory confinement for a period of 7 days from the date of arrival in one of the containment centers dedicated for this purpose listed on the following link: https://www.ontt.tn/ar/blagh at the expense of the passenger. 

Perform an RT-PCR Test during the last 24 hours of the mandatory confinement period, provided that the test result is delivered on the 7th day of the mandatory confinement. If this test is negative and at the end of the entire period of mandatory confinement (7 days), exit from the mandatory confinement center will be authorized. If the test is positive, the affected passenger will be transferred to the medical isolation center for positive cases.

Present at check-in at the airport of departure the reservation and payment confirmation document (Voucher) which must include:

      • Transportation costs between the airport and the mandatory confinement center.
      • Accommodation costs for 7 days in the mandatory confinement center.
      • The costs of the RT-PCR test to be carried out during the last 24 hours of compulsory confinement.

- Comply with rapid random screening by antigen testing on arrival if they are selected "at random" for this. If the test is positive, the passenger concerned will be transferred to a medical isolation center.

- Fill in the mandatory information requested on the site: https://app.e7mi.tn, then print and sign the two documents generated by the application and hand them over to the health services at the thermal control point on arrival at Tunisian airports.

 

Are exempt from compulsory confinement:

Passengers who have completed the COVID-19 vaccine scheme for at least 28 days for the Janssen « vaccine » and 14 days for other vaccines, provided that they present a certificate issued for this purpose.

- Unaccompanied minors (under 18) or minors accompanying people vaccinated against COVID-19, with the obligation to comply with preventive measures. 

Diplomats accredited to Tunisia and members of their families residing in Tunisia, who will be subject to self-containment for 7 days on condition that they present at the flight check-in, a verbal note from the Embassy or the organization concerned with all the necessary information or their valid residence cards in Tunisia.

Holders of an authorization issued by the compulsory confinement commission at the Ministry of Health.
